Surf Sports

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Muriwai Surf Sports team or just want to try out some of the disciplines such as board or ski please register your interest with our Head Coach David Butt at davidbutt18@gmail.com or alternatively on 0210394267.

Board or ski trainings occur both at Muriwai and over the North Shore during the week with athletes asked to transport their own gear to and from sessions. For more information regarding the time and place of these sessions, please consult the monthly training programme here. To gain allocation for the use of a board or ski for the season again please register your interest with the Head Coach.

Swim training takes place every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from the hours of 5.30-7.30am at the Massey High School pool and is open to all lifeguards under a paid coach. Whether you are an aspiring national champion or just wish to get fit to patrol our beach, this session is for you. At a cost of $30 per month they are the cheapest pool fees around! Please let the Head Coach know if you wish to take part in these.
